Creating customized acid cocktails according to skin type
Protocols for the use of acid cocktails AHA and BHA Vedara Medical
Vedara Medical is a Polish cosmetology brand that has created a unique method of preparing individual cocktails of medical acids for the treatment of various skin diseases.
Vedara Medical's AHA and BHA acids are of pharmaceutical purity, which excludes the risk of complications after treatments and no risk of burning. The cocktails work by means of strong stimulation of the skin, which guarantees intensive action and quick results after treatment, and also allows the use of these acid mixtures in the summer.
Indications/contraindications: the same as for the use of any acid.
Procedure design methodology
1. It is necessary to define a priority task for the procedure.
2. Preparation of an individual cocktail based on the AHA Base 16% or on the Active Peeling Mask or Coctail AHA&Vitamins. This gives unlimited possibilities for creating a customized cocktail for the treatment of all skin types and ages.
3. Diagnostics of the reaction and improvement of skin texture after the first procedure, on the basis of which the course of further treatment is determined.
Vedara Medical's step-by-step procedure
1. Makeup removal - we cleanse the skin with Bio-foam, removing the lipid layer and lowering the pH.
2. Prepare an individual cocktail based on AHA Base 16% or based on Active Peeling Mask.
- Using a syringe, measure 1 ml of AHA Base 16% and pour the product into a glass bowl.
- Add 20 drops of various acids and mix well.
- Apply the cocktail with a brush and leave for 6-10 min. avoiding the eye area. Within 2 min, the reaction intensifies on the skin and then decreases.
- Wash off the cocktail with a damp cotton cosmetic towel, trying not to rub the skin!
Depending on your skin type and problem, below are examples of cocktails.
3. Soothing Mask.
- Apply 4-5 ml of Extreme Calming Mask for 15-20 minutes under a gauze (wet) compress. If there is no reaction on the skin, apply 2% hyaluronic acid concentrate (4-6 drops) instead of the soothing mask.
4. Apply hyaluronic acid concentrate 2% (4-6 drops).
5. Apply VC Concentrate 20% and / or Retinol 1% (1-2 drops).
6. Apply an appropriate SPF30 or SPF50 cream (0.5 ml).
7. Apply SPF15 Mineral Powder with a natural brush.
Depending on the problem, we carry out therapy on cocktails in series of 2-6 treatments, with a break between the 1st and 2nd treatment of 5-7 days, between the 3rd and subsequent treatments of 14-21 days.
The cost of consuming the preparations for 1 treatment is PLN 15-17 (in mixtures) and PLN 27-30 when using pure acid solutions.
Preparation for the treatment: before the treatment there is no need to prepare the skin for the treatment, as in the case of using other chemical peels.
